a pregnant woman and
her three year old daughter
were killed while crossing
a street the other night
the car that hit them
was going 70 mph in
a residential zone
the mother/grandmother
of the victims told the
local news crew that she
holds no ill will towards
the occupants of the car
accidents happen
as i listened to this
story i looked over at
my mother and said it
sounds like someone
is relieved to be free
of a couple of burdens
she said no shit and
said it in a way that
made me believe she
wouldn't mind being
relieved of hers
