looks for synonyms of happiness
in the lexicon of life

words fail -
singing and dancing
since the days of fairy tales
they have lost their shine

in the clichéd darkness
begrimed by the forerunners
travels the same time-bridged path
overburdened by footprints
towards the same destiny
one-footed
