by Jordyn Coats
I was small. Minute. Tiny.
Could barely grasp a basketball,
much less your great idea of success.
The world was ever so vast.
You could dunk like there was no tomorrow,
but I felt like a washed up mess.
What was I thinking
all those years ago?
You could dunk. So what?
I used to think highly of you,
but I grew,
and now that door is wide shut.
