NOTHING

I can't decide whether
I should begin or not
but the trouble is
if you call yourself
something you have to start
don't don't you?
You can't call yourself
a plumber and not plumb.
You can't say you are a milkman
then not bring the milk.
You have to be something you can't be nothing
and say
"Oh me I do and am nothing."
People don't quite know what to say to that.
What they should say of course is.
"How do you know when you are finished?"
