By Daniel Harmon
Your smiling aura
Glows against the neon
Shifting
From cherry to peach
Your laughter is quick
And frees the heart
As it dances
Across your lips
Then, serious eyes
Give depth to a darkness
That curves
Around the shoulders
And shudders
Down your back
As the polish
On your trembling fingers
Crawls past
Violet passions
And fades
To midnight black.
