by Alan S. Kleiman
My cockatiel 'Feathers' sits in his cage
And listens to music
He watches TV
And reads books
Engages in dialectical conversations
Calls me in the office
And plays cards when not working
By working I mean
Eating seeds
Ignoring the dried fruit
The caviar, sushi
and fresh oysters on the half shell
Sometimes he can be picky.

This is Alan S. Kleiman! A poem funny but if you listen to it really, you will find some more deeper meaning. He knows exactly how to "play" with words and give them a signification. Alan's poems are never boring and always worth to read! Brigitte (BB)
