Smooth Talking

What is it about drinking?

I like to go about the world in a bit of a haze-
Daze-
I can go for days.

Some people wear sunglasses
To subdue the glaze,
Some people do both.

I do drinking.

It mellows you down
To the certainty of yourself-
Assured.

Though I’m no alcoholic
I just like a drink-

Clink!

It takes the edge outa life.
