The 'Net' has brought me out of 'retirement', for a while, at least. The Camel Saloon reminds me of being in Greece (Crete) in the late 70's, (writing and drinking), and believing we could change the World with our work...Maybe..this...time? This is wonderful perspective. Although I ...Donal:<br /><br />This is wonderful perspective. Although I wrote tons of poetry in the sixties, I never thought about submitting it anywhere. Then I became busy with working, getting married, and raising a son. So the poetry took a back seat. One day, I found a box of my old stuff, just as you did, in my closet and put it on my computer. That was in 2008. The rest, they say, is history. I have been published widely since then, both online and in print. I revised one of my "old" poems, which was published and subsequently nominated for a Pushcart. So just keep going!Bobbie Troynoreply@blogger.com
